Label Batch Suggestions

I own a company in which I offer 400+ variations of a product. Previously, in order to sell on a retail front, I used an individual UPC code through which I individually designed an Avery label.

I now have purchased 500 UPC codes and would like to assign each product its own individual UPC. I have created an Excel file, assigned a number and name, formatted the file, and added it to the data in the Barcode Label Software.

Previously, I had individual labels saved in separate files on my computer's hard drive and I would receive an order, open each product file individually, then print it.

I can scroll through each label, 1-400+ and they look fantastic. Each has its Item number, UPC, and correct Product name.

What I am looking to do is export each label individually so I can print them as needed. Is there a way to do this?

Operating System: Windows

Application: IDAutomation Barcode Label Software

The Barcode Label Software imports external data, but does not manipulate the data itself - it allows for the creation of the label, drawing elements from the datasource (Excel spreadsheet, database, etc).

Suggestions to accomplish the idea presented in the question (each is separate from the other):

● Import a range of data as an embedded dataset and save the specific label either with a unique name in its own folder. This has the added benefit of not having an extra data file, as the barcode numbers are in the label (.ida) file itself.

● Using a single external dataset, choose a specific range of labels to print by going to File > Print and choose the Range radio button.

● Setup a single saved label with the preset design and store the data ranges for your labels in different Excel files, then import the external dataset when needed.

● Set up an Excel file with a single set of barcode data and a matching saved label separated into each folder, by UPC number. The result will be folders containing a single label file and an Excel file.
