Create AutoCad .dxf file or font for Barcode Laser marking

I am looking for the support from you to create AutoCad dxf file for my laser marking system. The marking I am going to make is a nameplate with a data matrix 2D bar-code. My business partner in Lynnwood is using your app to create and then mark the nameplate currently. The laser marking system in Lynnwood is using .ida file directly. But the marking system in Kaohsiung can only use AutoCad .dxf.

Thanks for your recommendation of the Barcode Label Software - it is working. I tried the recommended "Barcode Label Software Pro" to open an existing .ida file and then export the file to graphic format (for example .bmp) successfully. However, the exported file has a low resolution at 96 dpi X 96 dpi only, is there any way to adjust and raise the resolution of "export" to higher dpi?

What kind of printer emulator your software can support?

Furthermore, would you please advise me what kind of laser label printers are compatable with your software?

There is no option to directly increase the export DPI from the label. However, there may be some utility that can emulate a printer and save it as a file, and if so you could print to that utility.

The Barcode Label Software Pro is used to open the .ida files. This software is designed to print to labels in a printer. We are not familiar with the process you are describing with AutoCad .dxf files so we cannot offer you advice about how to do what you need.

Hi Brant,

Thanks for your input.

The nameplate we need has 2D Data Matrix bar-code and text in a template. The bar code and text will change each nameplate (for example serial number, date code, and facility) .

Our Lynnwood site already provided me the ida file but I can't open it. I am thinking that I can use your app to load the ida file and change text and bar-code, transfer file format to .dxf and then laser mark the nameplate. I am not going to develop a new nameplate template. The demand of nameplates is 5~10 pieces/day, and less than 5 persons are going to handle the marking of nameplates.

So, what software do I need to purchase from you?
