How to set up a label field as currency or numeric with 2 decimal places. Final zero not printing

When linking to a csv database file with IDAutomation Barcode Label Software, I am trying to print a price field on my label. If the price ends with a 0 (zero), ie 92.50, it prints out as 92.5. I thought it may be a problem with the way a csv file stores numeric data, but IDAutomation Barcode Label Software does the same thing when I link to an Excel xls file where the column is defined as numeric with 2 decimal places. In other words, 92.50 shows up as 92.50 in the Excel file but as 92.5 on the label.

Unfortunately, because of the data import, the leading or ending zeros are stripped out of the data when it is imported into the software as a numeric field.

However, we have a workaround for the IDAutomation Barcode Label Application where if you set the Excel column as text and have the 2 digits set up, it will transfer over into the label application. Then if you would like to encode the "$" sign into the barcode as well, you can place the "$" in the prefix field and it will automatically appear in every barcode for that property.
