Embeded font in PDF requires developer license ?

I plan to purchase the Universal font for better mail merge using DDE under the non-English system. As only the end-user performs a mail merge, can I only purchase the user license, or need a developer license?

There has a document that mentioned that embedding the font in a Word file requires a developer license. How about if embedded in a PDF file (e.g. user prints the Word document into PDF using Acrobat)? Or for end-user, except embed the font inside a Word file and distribute it, any situation we need to purchase a developer license?

Thank you for writing. Embedding the Universal Barcode Font into a PDF does require the 1 Developer License, and embedding the font inside a word file and distributing that would also require a 1 Developer License. You may place your order online at your convenience and download it immediately after your order is placed.
