If I install the Licensed version of the Barcode fonts, will it overwrite the Demo version?


I have successfully used your IDAutomation Demo Barcode fonts but I have one question. If I install the Licensed Barcode fonts will it overwrite the demo or will I have to uninstall the demo?

If you installed the demo version of the fonts (i.e. Code 128 Font Package), you may notice the name of the fonts begin with IDAutomationSC128XL. The S in the file name stands for sample or demo. The licensed version does not include the S in the font name and is named IDAutomationC128XL. Therefore, both fonts could actually exist without overwriting since the font file names are different.

If you plan to install the licensed version of the font package, ensure that you have uninstalled the demo version. This should not cause any issues with the barcodes created and saved in an application. The most that you may have to do is re-select the barcode font from the font drop-down list.
