The right way to build up a GS1-128 barcode in Crystal reports XII

Hi,

We are trying to make a GS1-128 code with 5 AI's (respectively: 02,10,15,37,400)

This isthe string used in CR:

Stringvar S:="02"+EAN13code+"10"+ordernummer+"~202"+"15"+DatumTHT+"1231"+"37"
+aantal_in_doos+"~202"+"400"+referentie;

IDAutomation_Code128ApplyTilde (S)

But somehow it doesn't work.

I think that the problem has to do with a start Tilde and an end tilde.

Is the code above correct?

I have combined several aspects of GS1 Specifications:

* AIs 02 and 15 are fixed AIs, so they are listed first- AIs 10, 37, and 400 are variable
* The example data for all variable AIs is 9876 for this example- it is probably
not valid data, just replace it with valid variable data later
* The variable AIs (following the first variable AI) have a Group Separator (~029)
to distinguish them
* I have combined your statements into one single statement in Crystal Syntax

The following data is shown for barcode data formation - replace your data accordingly
(on a single line):

IDAutomation_Code128ApplyTilde ("02"+"12345678901231"+"15"+"130725"+"~212"+"10"+"9876"
+"~029"+"37"+"9876"+"~029"+"400"+"9876")

Note: the above example employed the following:

* Crystal Reports Barcode Font Encoder UFL
* The Tilde Method of distinguishing data
* BCGEN.COM Font Encoder to calculate the mod10
