MICR Fonts and SSRS printing character spacing issue

This question is regarding IDAutomation MICR fonts and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services reports.

(Microsoft SQL Server 2014 (SP2-CU2) (KB3188778) - 12.0.5522.0 (X64) )

The fonts look good on the screen and when printing from applications like Microsoft Word. However, when the MICR font is included in an SSRS report, it prints compressed-looking (with less character spacing), as in the attached picture. Do you have any documentation on getting the MICR font to print properly from an SSRS report?

The MICR font you are using is very old. We recommend using the latest version, so this does not happen again. There have been some corrections after 2006 to compensate for modern higher-resolution printers, newer print drivers, and newer operation systems. To obtain the latest version, update the level 2 support.

The font is IDAutomationMICR, Version IDAutomation.comV2006.

After a restart of the SSRS SQL server, the font is printing as expected.

We are investigating this issue. Can you provide the exact font name of the font you were using and the date it was created in the copyright notice?
