How do I install the ID Automation MICR font on Windows 2022 server?


How do I install the ID Automation MICR font on Windows 2022 server? I think we purchased MICR E13B Font Package 1 Developer License. I tried installing it but not sure it is installed correctly? See attached as it says installable in the column.

Hello Doug, We recommend the Font Installation Procedures to install the fonts manually or by GPO deployment. Fonts are maintained at the user level and will need to be installed for each user who will be accessing check writing to use the fonts. Your order from 2024 came with a Silent Installer that you could use for this purpose also if you still have it, and I show that you downloaded both the fonts and the silent installer on 2/22/2024. After installation, it may be necessary to restart the server because Windows Server often caches the installed fonts, and newly installed fonts may not be recognized until the server restarts.
