SSRS Barcode .NET Assembly DLL Assembly does not allow partially trusted callers

Using the .NET dll to encode data in SSRS produces the 'That assembly does not allow partially trusted callers."

Ben	Best Answer Updated: 2020 The SSRS Font Encoder and SSRS Barcode Generator have been released since this issue was resolved that offers an easier method of generating barcodes in SSRS without the assembly, config file edits or other components. When attempting to preview a barcode in Visual Studio using the barcode fonts and .NET Assembly Font Encoder implementation: https://www.idautomation.com/font-encoders/dotnet-assembly/sql-server-reporting-services-tutorial/ an error 'That assembly does not allow partially trusted callers" occurs. Assemblies: IDAutomation.NETAssembly.dll IDAutomation.IntelligentMail.dll IDAutomation.DataBarFontEncoder.dll IDAutomation.Aztec.dll IDAutomation.DataMatrix.dll IDAutomation.PDF417.dll IDAutomation.QRCode.dll Verify that FullTrust is set for the CodeGroup for the .NET Assembly in the RSPreviewPolicy.config file. Sometimes FullTrust must be given to some of the other CodeGroups such as the Microsoft_Strong_Name which grants code signed with the Microsoft strong name full trust. Because config files may include CodeGroups beyond the default, it is up to you to determine which other CodeGroups need modifications.
