Forms Control in Reporting Services not working

2019 Update: IDAutomation now offers the (SSRS Native Barcode Generator) which stays embedded in the report and runs locally without the need for the Forms Control.

I am attempting to use the IDAutomation Forms Control within a Reporting Services report. It is working successfully in development but not on the server. I have successfully added the necessary code to create the barcode within the Business Intelligence Studio but after publishing cannot get it to display.

I have given the DLL Full Trust access, copied to all necessary and unnecessary folders, etc and I have no idea what else to try. It gives no error but displays nothing. We are using Visual Studio 2005. I have deployed the DLL to the ReportServer bin folder, the ReportManager bin, and the GAC. I have also added PermissionSet and CodeGroups but received a red X where the image should be.

If you have followed the steps at:
https://www.idautomation.com/barcode-components/windows-forms-control/reporting-services.html then the control is in the correct directory.

There are a couple of things that you can do. Please re-visit:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=842419 and also compare the Development and the Deployment Servers. One of the major issues is caused by the security for code execution--sometimes it needs to be increased.

Additionally, our Barcode CRI https://www.idautomation.com/barcode-components/reporting-services-cri/ is specifically designed for Reporting Services and may work better for you in this situation.
