Barcode is not showing in Citrix Oracle Report


We have installed the below-mentioned Code 128 Barcode Font on a Citrix machine; after generating the report we are not getting the expected barcode font output.
We are using Oracle 6i Reports.

We should try to use a process of elimination to solve the issue. Try in this order to locate the problem:
On the client, open a simple word processor, such as Word or WordPad.
Copy and paste the following text:
Í,BXnz,VÎ
Highlight the text and select the Code 128 barcode font IDAutomationSC128M.
You should see a barcode.

If you do not see the barcode, the font is not properly installed; in this case, uninstall all the IDAutomationSC128M fonts from the server and clients reinstall only the TTF fonts on the server and clients, reboot the server and client, and try again. Now you should see the font on the client and the barcode should appear.

If you do see the barcode the font is working properly on the client and the problem is with Oracle Reports and you should try to update Oracle Reports, if an update is available, or contact Oracle Support to find out why the font is not working in their application. If you cannot get the font to work properly, you could try another solution such as Creating Barcode in Oracle Reports using the Java Barcode Package.

Hello,

we confirm that the font is selected for the field on the development machine

we have installed the font and restarted the server also

Still, the Barcode is not showing in the Oracle Report

Kindly help us to fix the issue.

That environment is not something we are completely familiar with. If you can treat the font as any other font It should work. Make sure you’ve installed only one version of the font, the true type font only.

Hello Team,

We are using Citrix machine creation service(MCS) and a non-persistent environment

We have installed a Font in Gold image and updated the machine catalog (which will get the latest update for the Target VDI servers)

The machine catalog updated and the target VDI server, but the installed font is missing in the Target VDI server.

Kindly check and update the same
