How to set up an address block in your label software


Hello, I am testing your label software and I am having a problem setting up an address block. I have the label linked to an Excel file and can insert a text box and link it to a data field in my file. I have 1 text box for each name/address line in my file. The problem I am having is if I have a name field and 3 address lines and a city-st-zip field and 1 or 2 of the address lines are blank for a specific record how do I get the city-st-zip line to move up so blank lines do not print.

Best Answer

Because the text field can contain a value, when it does not, it is NULL. Therefore, the field remains. The only way to correct this using an External data source is to include the Address and City/State in the same field.
