Code 128 HIBC, Return Types, and Human Readable Text in Crystal Reports


Using ReturnType 6 I get the human readable working, but I cannot find help on getting the check digit to work and to print in human readable.

The UFL functions only seem to support ReturnType 6-9 but the documentation on your site says to use ReturnType 11.

I realize that I should probably be using the FID but I cannot find any documentation on using it.

Please help.

Return Types:
· Return types above 0 are deprecated to Unicode incompatibilities, please only try Return type 0 (if using a previous UFL version).
· ReturnType references have since been removed from the Linear UFL Function API.

Human Readable (HR):
To get human-readable text, we suggest adding a field underneath the barcode (which provides the added benefit of control over the placement, font, and size of text).

HIBC:
To encode Code 128 HIBC in Crystal Reports, refer to this previous Post.
