Reading PDF417 Barcode Crystal Reports from Screenshot

I am using the IDAutomation PDF417 Font Formula in Crystal Reports to generate PDF417 barcodes. While I can successfully read the barcode directly from the generated PDF (or printed document) using a barcode reader on my mobile device, I am encountering an issue when attempting to read the barcode from a screenshot saved to my device's gallery. I'm currently using the QR & Barcode Scanner Android app to do this. I have tried increasing the font size of the IDAutomation_PDF417_D object in Crystal Reports, but I still cannot read it.

Specifically, when I take a screenshot of the barcode, save it to my gallery, and then try to read it using the "Load from device" option in my barcode reader app, the application fails to detect the barcode and returns an error message. In the attachment, I have provided a screenshot of the barcode that I cannot read. Thank you for your support and assistance. I look forward to your response.

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry to hear you're unable to successfully scan the PDF417 screenshot. It sounds like the barcode product is functioning correctly, just that our free barcode scanner app is not working on your device when uploading from a screenshot. Upon testing we've been unable to recreate the issue, perhaps close the scanner app completely and reopen it. Sometimes this helps to reset it, alternatively, you can try a third-party scanner.
