BIP Files provided for 12.1.3 not working for 12.2.9


There has actually been a significant architectural change introduced between EBS version 12.1.3 (which ONE Gas is currently in production with) and version 12.2.9 (the version we are upgrading them to).

$JAVA_TOP/oracle/apps/xdo/ooc/barcoder/BarcodeUtil.java
$JAVA_TOP/com/idautomation/fontencoder/qrcode/QRCodeBarcodeEncoder.class and
$JAVA_TOP/com/idautomation/fontencoder/qrcode/QRCodeEncoder.class

Barcode integration in BIP is a complex process and should only be performed by advanced BIP report designers or developers with Java experience. Because of the complexity involved, IDAutomation can support the Java barcode product with the examples provided in the package from IDAutomation. For troubleshooting purposes, it is recommended to get the examples provided in the licensed Java package working first and then use a process of elimination to get it working properly in BIP. Issues with BIP should be directed to Oracle Support when the Java product is working properly.

We don't know how to test in non BI Publisher solution. Please provide the steps to test the Bar Coder solution in Oracle EBS 12.2.9 version.
