How to use QR Code Barcode Fonts in PowerBuilder


I want to use the QR Code Font to generate a QR code in PowerBuilder. How can I do this?

IDAutomation recommends the QR Code Font and Encoder. After installing the font, find an appropriate encoder that works with PowerBuilder. One of our clients was able to use QR Code in PowerBuilder with the ActiveX Control as an OLEObject. The ActiveX Control is also provided with the QR Code Font and Encoder. This is the code he provided:

OLEObject ole_data
ole_data = Create OLEObject
ole_data.ConnectToNewObject("IDAuto.QRCode")
ole_data.FontEncode(as_source_data, ai_Tilde, ai_EncMode, ai_version, ai_ErrLevel, REF ls_QRCode)
