QR-Code Header crashes when ECL is High

We have been using IDAutomationQRCode.h from the QR Code Font Suite for some time. At the top of the file, it has this version information:
C++ Header file for IDAutomation 2D Fonts V2010
With the code below or similar data over a thousand or so characters of data with high error correction, it crashes.
With this particular code, it crashes in QRUtil::FillTargetArray().
In other cases, it crashes in QRCodeEncoder::DrawAlignmentPattern().
Is there a fix for this, possibly in a more recent version of the C++ code?
Code below, compiled for x64 in Visual Studio 2022:

//////////
#include "IDAutomationQRCode.h"
int main()
{
QRCodeFontEncoder QR;
QR.ErrorCorrectionLevel = QR.ECL_H;
QR.DataToEncode = std::string(1274, '.');
return printf(QR.FontEncode().c_str());
}

Operating System: Windows 10

Application: Visual Studio 2022

We have released the latest version of the C++ file that corrects the issue you were experiencing and it also provides much more functionality such as UTF8 encoding. For more info refer to the QR Code C++ Header File Update release log.

Thank you, Brant.

Can you please confirm whether there have been any updates or fixes to this code since 2010?

The sample VS 2022 project is a standard C++ Windows Console app with the code from my original post:

#include "IDAutomationQRCode.h"
int main()
{
QRCodeFontEncoder QR;
QR.ErrorCorrectionLevel = QR.ECL_H;
QR.DataToEncode = std::string(1274, '.');
return printf(QR.FontEncode().c_str());
}
