Installing QR Code Font on Linux OS


Hello Team, we have purchased your product QR-Code Font and Encoder Suite. We want to install this product on the Linux operating system. After the product download and extract, we observed that the installer media is only for the Windows operating system. Can we have installation media that can be installed on the Linux operating system?

There is no installer for Linux and an installer is not necessary to use the QR Code Font. Installation on Linux is a 2-step process:
1. Install the Font
2. Install a Font Encoder

That said, there is some information here regarding this installation Font Installation on Unix and Other Systems. If you require further assistance you should reach out to your operating system or application vendor for installation procedures.

Linux installation will not require files other than the ones that came with your package. The installation itself is a feature of the Linux system and IDAutomation can only support the font tools, the symbology, and the fonts themselves as stated in the statement of support – IDAutomation is unable to assist with the installation of the fonts on Unix or Linux systems.
