Line Spaced QRcode is displaying on PDF output

Hi Team,
We are trying to display QR CODE on PDF output using Oracle XMLP report and QR Code 2D Fonts. But it is not displaying in the correct format. Line-spaced QR Code is displayed on PDF output. We are getting line space between each qrcode line. Any help would be grateful.

Operating System: Windows10

Application: Oracle Application

Best Answer

Use only "IDAutomation2D". To get a smaller symbol, decrease the point size.

Do not use “IDAutomation2D S” or “IDAutomation2D XS” fonts because these are causing the extra spacing in Oracle XMLP reports when exporting to a PDF.

Hi Brant,

As the client provided, We are using IDAutomation2D XS and IDAutomation2D font files, and don't have any idea of the Copyright date of these fonts.

We took the encoder class from the below url
https://www.idautomation.com/barcode-fonts/2d/qr-code/download.html

Thanks,
Jhansi

Can you tell me, what is the name and copyright date of the font you are using?
Also, Which font encoder are you using?

Hi Brant,

We are using the IDAutomation QRcode Font file.

QRCODE displays correctly in WORD document if we ran through the program.

We are using RTF (Rich Text Format) template to display the qrcode in PDF documents through the program.

Please let me know how can we avoid CRLF from the RTF Template while printing on a PDF file.

Thanks,
Jhansi

To resolve this issue, set the line spacing must be set to “1” or “Single” without any additional spacing before or after. If white lines still appear, set the spacing to less than 1, such as 0.98 if possible. Also, remove the spacing after each paragraph if this is an option. More information about this is provided in the 2D White Line Spacing article.
