Oracle BI Publisher PDF Output doesn't show the QRCode Image

I am using the Demo Version of the IDAutomation Font for 2D QR Code.
I followed all the steps needed to generate the QR code.

And I am able to generate the QR Code for a Word/RTF Document and it shows properly and I am able to scan it and see the encoded text which I used.
But I am not able to see the QR Code Image in the PDF output.
It shows as plain text in the form of a string.

I am using the BI Publisher Template View tool to generate the outputs.
I made sure that the font file is installed.
I tried with IDAutomation2D.TTF and also IDAutomation2D.OTF fonts
I also added the Font mappings in the xdo.cfg for both TTF and OTF Fonts
For Adobe Reader, I even placed the OTF Font File in the "C:Program Files (x86)AdobeAcrobat Reader 2015ResourceFont" folder
and used that in the xdo.cfg

I do not see any Exceptions on the console or the tool when the PDF is generated.

Can you please tell me if I am missing anything?

Thanks for any help
Sameer
