From the image uploaded, it appears the white lines in the symbol are causing a scanner error. This is similar to the White Lines Appear in a 2D Symbol KB issue.

To resolve this issue:

Use only the “IDAutomation2D” font; do not use “IDAutomation2D S” or “IDAutomation2D XS” fonts because these can cause extra spacing in some applications including Oracle XMLP reports.

Set the line spacing to “1” or “Single” without any additional spacing before or after. If white lines still appear, set the spacing to less than 1, such as 0.98 as shown in the Crystal and FileMaker examples below. The spacing greater than 1 creates white lines.

If the issue still occurs, try different point sizes on the 2D font and choose the size that does not display the white lines.

The latest version of the Java encoder in the QR Code Font Package includes UTF-8 support. To read the codes, a scanner must be able to properly decode UTF-8, refer to the bottom of this UTF-8 FAQ. To obtain the update, purchase Level 2 Support for the QR Code Font Package.

Greetings Mr.Bahjat.

Recently, we also tried to print a QR code and faced the same issue that you have faced and it is resolved as suggested by Admin by using only the font "IDAutomation2D".

But, we have one more issue Arabic Characters in the QR code are not displayed/scanned correctly. Kindly advise us, if you have faced a similar issue and feedback on a way to resolve this issue.

Many Thanks,
Thamizh
