Unable to import IDAutomation Java Font Encoder class

We purchased the QR Font and Encoder which includes the Java class JAR file two days back as a developer version. But we could not import com.idautomation.fontencoder.qrcode.QRCodeEncoder class in the Java file. We are not able to import using the IDAutomation_JavaFontEncoder_QRCode.jar file provided during the purchase. We have provided the screenshot. We are using JDeveloper tool for compiling the Java file to get the class file. Kindly advise on this, this is affecting our business needs in our Oracle ebiz platform.

Best Answer

If the class cannot be imported it is most likely a classpath problem. Please view step 4 of the Oracle XML BI Publisher (BIP) & E-Business Suite (EBS) Tutorial.

You should install the JAR file in your server's classpath system environment variable. On Windows Server do this:
1. Right-click on Computer and select Properties.
2. Click on Advanced system settings.
3. Click on Environment Variables.
4. In System variables, click on New.
5. In Variable name, type CLASSPATH.
6. In Variable value, type the path to the JAR file.
7. If you have multiple JAR files, separate them with semicolons.
