Unable to encode ( parentheses ) in Crystal for 2D Code

We are unable to encode and print parentheses such as "(" and ")" in Crystal Reports for a 2D Barcode. I need to know how to embed a ")" in the DataToEncode section of your code for printing a 2D code. The ")" is currently not showing up. We are currently running Native Barcode Generator for Crystal Reports Version 2017.

Operating System: WIndows 11

Application: Crystal Reports

The parentheses character can be seen as a function character in the barcode so if the paratheses are not showing up, you can replace the character with the ASCII equivalent from this chart: ASCII Chart. For the right parentheses, this is ASCII code 41 so you would make sure "Apply Tilde" is turned on in your encoder and then use the formula ~d### to represent the character e.g. ~d041 for the right parentheses character.

Additionally, your version is very old. IDAutomation suggests using the latest version which is much more advanced and contains a few bug fixes. To obtain this, purchase the Level 2 Priority Support and you will be provided with a download link.
