RS in DataMatrix Scan


I am using demo IDAutomation software to create new labels.

Example of what I am expecting:
<RS>06<GS>18VUN15380xxxx<GS>Pppppppppppppppp <GS>Ssssssssssss<GS>2PVxx<RS>EOT

However, I am not picking up the <RS> in the label’s scan.

What is your advice?

Support Note: The client forwarded screenshots of the barcodes created.

The issue was found to be the scanner being used, as when lower ASCII was enabled and the Free ASCII Decoder was used to show the unprintable characters, the barcode scanned correctly.

IDAutomation also recommends testing the result with the Barcode Decoder App because it reveals the RS, GS, and EOT functions to verify proper encoding.
