Install & Configure IDAutomation QR Code Font in Oracle BIP

Hello Team, We have recently purchased the QR Code Font with a Developer License which includes the Java Encoder. We need to get this font working in our JDE application. For that, we are following https://www.idautomation.com/font-encoders/java-class-library/oracle-xml-publisher/ but are unable to do so. We need immediate assistance in this regard. Thanks, Aniket

Operating System: Windows

Application: JDE

Hello Aniket,

I noticed you got an error on line 16, this usually occurs because the import statement can't find the jar library associated with the import statement. If below is your CLASSPATH, then you are missing the jar file that would allow you to access this. You'll find the "XDOBarcodeEncoder.class" are accessible through the xdocore.jar for BI. Try including this jar file in your CLASSPATH and let us know if that resolves the issue and the Example is able to run.

We are are here to help you, and we can help you get our Java product working in Java. Have you resolved the classpath issue and can you confirm that the Java example provided in the download runs?

Getting issue on point 4

4. Place the JAR file in the classpath. View Oracle's documentation for additional help. Run the IDAutomation's "QRCodeBarcodeExample" program available in the Developer Tool's package to confirm the JAR file displays a scannable barcode or encoded data.
