Having a Problem with the Import of a CSV File to Adobe InDesign

After using your fonts and Add-In in Excel, we saved our XLS file to a CSV file (comma separated ","). When merging the file in Adobe InDesign, we cannot get the columns separated (as shown in your video). All columns appear in one row separated with a semicolon ";".

Can we change this in some way?

Operating System: Windows

Application: Microsoft Excel, Adobe InDesign

This matter is related to Adobe InDesign and not to IDAutomation software. By searching for a solution, I have found a blog post that might help. If that does not solve the problem, please contact Adobe for further technical support on this issue.

We know that this probably is the cause but this is the European standard for comma-separated csv
Is it possible to develop the add-in to handle this?? Convert; to,!

You are getting the semicolons in Adobe InDesign because the CSV file contains semicolons, instead of commas.
