Jul-2013 Update: All Barcode Image Generators

All Barcode Image Generators now have performance improvements and enhancements to encoding routines and design style.

The following are symbology-specific updates:

Linear
• Telepen displays human readable with a check digit.

DataMatrix
• Functionality that allows the user (when ApplyTilde/ProcessTilde is enabled) to encode the FNC1 using parentheses around the AI in ASCII Encoding Mode corrected. When FNC1 appears in the first position (or in the fifth position of the first symbol of a Structured Append), it will indicate the data conforms to the UCC/EAN Application Identifier standard format.

Example:

Result:
]d2010001234567890

• When Applytilde/ProcessTilde is enabled and the Encoding Mode is ASCII:
~5 produces a prefix [)><RS>05<GS> and a suffix <RS><EOT>
~6 produces a prefix [)><RS>06<GS> and a suffix <RS><EOT>

Example:
~5800406141410048500AX20791~d0290100614141004850~d029950614141
~d02921AX20791

Result:
[)><RS>05<GS>800406141410048500AX20791<GS>0100614141004850
<GS>950614141<GS>21AX20791<RS><EOT>

Maxicode
• Correction to End of Transmission (EOT) using ~004.

PDF417
• Correction to FontEncode routine.
