"Object Reference Not set to an instance of the object"

I am getting error "Object Reference Not set to an instance of the object" while calling "SaveImageAs" Method for generating maxicode. my code is as follows.

at the top using statement was written as follows after adding IDAutomation.MaxiCodeServerControl.Dll

using IDAutomation.MaxicodeServerControl;

public void MaxicodeBarcode()
{

char GS = Convert.ToChar(29);
char RS = Convert.ToChar(30);
char EOT = Convert.ToChar(4);

String dataToEncode = "[)>" + RS + "01" + GS + "9606493 " + GS + "276" + GS + "066" + GS +
"1Z95051035" + GS + "UPSN" + GS + "52R1E4" + GS + "349" + GS + GS + "1/1" + GS + "12" + GS +
"N" + GS + "" + GS + "SILBERHUTTE" + GS + "" + RS + EOT;

Maxicode barcode = new Maxicode();
barcode.Width = 28;
barcode.Height = 26;
barcode.EncodingMode = EncodingModes.Mode2;
barcode.DataToEncode = dataToEncode;

barcode.SaveImageAs("~/IDAutomation/MaxiCode.jpeg", System.Drawing.Imaging.ImageFormat.Jpeg);

}

Please provide the solution as early as possible, My management told me that if it works, we will purchase the license for IDAutomation. Thanks In Advance.

Our other solution is to stream Maxicode for ASP is to use our ASP Streaming Component for IIS (Maxicode is included in the 2D version) and save the canvas (possibly) using javascript similar to this post that discusses how to save image canvas.

As of 1/3/2015, there is a currently an issue with the SaveImageAs method for the Maxicode Server Control. We are in the process of updating our Server Controls for the upcoming release. If you have additional questions, please let us know at support@idautomation.com
