How to install Reporting Services CRI on two different Servers

2019 Update: IDAutomation now offers the (SSRS Native Barcode Generator) which stays embedded in the report and runs locally without the need for the CRI, which has been discontinued.

I need to install the CRI but I have a server, Server 1, that is running Visual Studio, and the other, Server 2, is running Reporting Services, how do I install the product?

You will have to manually install the Reporting Services Barcode CRI.

Server1: Running Visual Studio
(1) Copy the Barcode.dll and CRI.dll to your Private Assemblies folder.

Server2: Running Reporting Services
(1) Copy the CRI.dll to the ReportServer/bin
(2) Edit specific Config files with code located in the Manual installation of the user manual:

Barcode.dll refers to:
IDAutomation_ReportingServices_Barcode.dll
IDAutomation_ReportingServices_DataMatrix.dll
IDAutomation_ReportingServices_QRCode.dll

IDAutomation_ReportingServices_PDF417.dll
IDAutomation_ReportingServices_Maxicode.dll

CRI.dll refers to:
