How to concatenate external data with constant data fields using the Barcode Label Software?

I need to print a barcode that is a concatenation of 4 fields to be used for my Oracle rack locator labels.

How can I do this with IDAutomation Barcode Label Software? I need the barcode to have a constant prefix of "1L+" followed by a field from the external database, followed by a constant "/" followed by another field from the external database.

For example, the barcode for sub-inventory "WH5" and location "100.201.12.06" would contain this data: "1L+WH5/100.201.12.06"

I can successfully put a constant prefix with a database value, but I do not know how to concatenate all 4 fields together into the barcode.

The tutorial explains how to concatenate constant values and external data using the Barcode Label Software.

(The examples use an embedded data set)

5. To rename the field, select Rename Field.

6. Choose Apply and select OK

NOTE: The example uses an Embedded Data Set as the External Data Source. An external source, such as an Excel spreadsheet or other database will also work.

7. To enter the data as an embedded data set, choose, Tools--Data Sets--Create Embedded Data Set.

8 To change the name of the column header, right-click the header, and select Rename. Modify the name and select OK.

9. Input data values.

10. At the bottom right side of the application, select OK.

11. Add a barcode or text to the label.

13. Select the Value Tab and in the Value Type drop-down, choose Formula.

• To include a label field, use LabelField with the field name (if renamed) or number in parentheses.
LabelField(1)

• To include the external data field, use Field with the field number within parentheses.
Field(1)

• Use the ampersand to separate fields.

15. Choose Apply and OK

16. To view values, advance the label counter.
