QR Code Ampersand '&' Support in HTML URL


Is it possible to code a QR code redirect URL with an ampersand? When trying the redirect URL stops encoding at the &.

Example URL: http://clientname.com?FirstName=Test1&LastName=Test2

Certain characters are reserved in HTML because they are the characters that make up the HTML language. These include the quotation mark ("), apostrophe ('), ampersand (&), less-than (<), and greater-than (>) symbols. Encoding these characters is possible in IDAutomation products by using the ASCII number of the character with ApplyTilde enabled. To encode '&' you can use ~d038. For example:
www.bcgen.com/demo/IDAutomationStreamingQRCode.aspx?D=?FirstName=Test~d038LastName
