Can we create UPC/EAN Barcodes without human-readable in your font package?


We have purchased the UPC A library of fonts from IDAutomation. We have a need to have the barcode font without the human-readable numbers AND without the guard bars. Is there an option for that in your current font library, or is this something that we can have customized for our purposes?

When used with a font encoder, the UPC/EAN Font Package is capable of creating UPCa, UPCe, EAN8, and EAN13 barcodes.

In the UPC/EAN Font Package, we include a group of fonts in the folder named HRVariation that do not include human-readable underneath the barcode.

You must manually install these fonts. Right-click on the font file and choose Install.

Once installed, if you have a lot of barcode font packages installed, it may be difficult to tell which font produces the non-human readable. The best way to handle this is to manually type in the name of the non-human readable font into your font window. For example:

Because the human-readable is attached to the barcode point size, it cannot be adjusted without adjusting the barcode. However, if you use non-human readable fonts, you could always insert your human readable as a separate text field/label.
