Do you have exclusive UPC-A font available?


Hi,
Do you have exclusive UPC-A font available? I am not looking for UPC/EAN Font Advantage Package (we already have it). I am looking for an exclusive UPC-A font, not bundled in UPC/EAN Font Advantage Package. The reason is I am using the font in BI Publisher reports that print out of Oracle applications and having issues selecting UPC-A font from the UPC/EAN bundle. So I am looking for a UPC-A font only for purchase.

The UPC/EAN Font Package includes the IDAutomationUPCEAN font, which is a UPC-A font. The only reason we have named it UPC EAN is because UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-8, and EAN-13 symbologies can be created with the same font and use the same bar structure. It is not efficient to have each font as a separate file because the file applies to any of the four symbologies listed, and it is really the font encoder that determines whether or not it is UPC-A or one of the others.

Technically, when you look at the UPC/EAN Font Package, if UPC-A is all that you need to generate, then the IDAutomationUPCEAN font is UPC-A.

If you are trying to produce barcodes in BI Publisher, you may want to download the Java Encoder which is included with the purchase of a Developer License or above.
