Data Matrix 2D barcode incomplete (white lines) when printed

We are using the Data Matrix Barcode Font Generator Package. The 2D barcodes rendered in the Crystal Reports design environment are very nice and scan perfectly from the screen. However, when printing them from within our STARLiMS application, which first renders them to a Crystal Reports "viewer", they are incomplete and do not scan consistently. I've included screenshots of both renderings to help provide context to my issue. Can you please provide any guidance?

debrac	Best Answer Thank you for contacting us. I understand you are using the Data Matrix Font and Encoder. IDAutomation can only support the generation of the barcode in Crystal Reports and our ability to support printing issues is limited. We also have no experience using Starlims as an application. That said, when I review the documents, it appears that Starlims is adding line spacing which is causing white lines to appear throughout the barcode, or possibly that the barcode is too large for the space allotted when printing through Starlims which is distorting the barcode. Try increasing the size of the object where the barcode is rendered. Please also review the White Lines appear in Symbol KB page. I would recommend that you check the size of the barcode for the space allotted to it and the line spacing in Starlims, but unfortunately, I do not have instructions for checking these items in that application. Another thing you can check is printing to the printer directly from Crystal Reports bypassing Starlims to see if the barcode prints successfully. If it does, then the issue will not be with the printer but with Starlims itself and we would recommend reaching out to Starlims for assistance with line spacing and sizing.
