Problem with the install of UFL on a windows 2003 server

I'm trying to install the software to use the UFL function in a crystal report run using the crystal run-time module. I've installed this before, but at the moment I'm hitting a problem where when I run the report I get 'not implemented' - when I run through the crystal reports engine I get the same issue

I think its a missing DLL, but cannot find out which

Regards

John

I am not sure what could be the problem. There is nothing in the error message that would indicate that the barcode is the problem. Since the UFL is not being used the only other external file that would be used is the barcode font. If the font is installed then it sounds like something else in the report is not working.

You may need to contact SAP for further troubleshooting.

Tim,

Just checked, I'm on a Server 2003r2, running Terminal Services

With Domain Admins it worked, without Domain Admins.

If permissions are the issue then the UFL is perhaps being used. If you are sure that the formula is being used, then something else entirely could be causing the problem.

Thanks for your response, I'm actually using the formula within Crystal, so perhaps not the UFL

I bought the software about 2 years ago and moved from one server to another

This morning I did some more work and the crystal report runs if I've got Administrator rights, remove the admin rights and I get the message 'not implemented'

Does this help?

Regards

john

Jbreedom.

Can you please give me some details on which product you are using, and if the evaluation version is being used? The formula approach may be a solution, but this only applies to certain products.
