How to size Swiss QR Code to 46x46


I would like to change the size of the QR Bill which is the QR Code for Switzerland. We tried different ways but the result is the same - the size of the field is changed but not the QR Code itself. I need it to be 46x46 mm. Could you help me with that?

Adjust the Version property first. The average version based on the QR-bill style guide is Version 23. After obtaining and adjusting the Version, modify the point size (XDimension). Based on our chat, Version 22 and font size 4.5 helped to produce the correct barcode.

Yes, during business hours you can click the chat icon. From this point, these are the steps we should take:

1.
Use the 9x9 ~CO string (“~CO99,00007F00770077004100770077007F000000”) to generate the Swiss cross in the symbol and adjust the X dimension (or in this case the point size) of the symbol accordingly so the cross is within the specifications of 7 x 7 mm.

2.
Once the Swiss cross is 7x7 mm, adjust the overall size of the symbol by either increasing the error correction level or the version number. With all data encoded, you can determine the current version number by scanning the code with the IDAutomation Data Decoder App.

3.
If the printed symbol is not completely square, refer to the Format a 2D Barcode in Crystal to be Square incident.

Yes, I tried that. Nothing helped. Any chance to get in contact with someone from the support team? So they can check it in a remote session

Try ErrorCorrectionLevel = 3 instead of 0 and that will make the symbol larger. For example, modify the top portion of the formula:
ErrorCorrectionLevels = 3 ' 0=15% | 1=30% | 2=7% | 3-25%
and after that, you can adjust the size more precisely by changing the point size, for example, 4.5 points.

We have Crystal Reports QR Code Generator. I did as it is said in the user manual. It didn't help. I use the font Consolas and size 4.
The size of the QR code is then 3,5x4 cm and I need 4,6x4,6.

If I use a bigger font size, the QR code doesn't work then

Yes, we can help if you are using an IDAutomation product. Which product in particular are you using? Usually, the Swiss QR Code size can be adjusted by changing the X Dimension. Refer to the product user manual about how to do this. The size can also be made larger by increasing the error correction level. An example of this is in the Crystal Reports Swiss QR Bill Example.
