T-SQL error using Code 128 when data includes a hyphen

We are using your Transact-SQL Barcode Font Formulas and when calling the following function on MS SQL 2012 it returns a valid result:
SELECT dbo.Code128(N'PR1234567NO1',0)

However, if I insert a '-' between the 7 and N and call:
SELECT dbo.Code128(N'PR1234567-NO1',0)
I get the following error from SQL:
Conversion failed when converting the nvarchar value '7-' to data type int.

Can you please advise a solution?

Operating System: Windows Server 2012R2

Application: MS SQL 2012

The error is caused when there is a check for numeric characters using ISNUMERIC for the Code 128 function. In versions of SQL Server, the hyphen "-" is recognized as a numeric character. When there are several numeric characters in a Code 128 function, the encoding mode switches to Set C, and the data is interleaved into pairs. Because the hyphen isn't a true numeric character, the function crashes.

To correct a version with this issue, append AND Value (the IsNumeric Substring) BETWEEN '0' AND '9999' to any line of code that uses ISNUMERIC.

Example:

WHILE @f <= LEN(@dataToFormat) AND ISNUMERIC(SUBSTRING(@dataToFormat, @f, 1)) = 1 AND SUBSTRING(@dataToFormat, @f, 1) BETWEEN '0' AND '9999'
