If Maxicode isn't supported in Data Decoder, please remove


I read on another thread https://support.idautomation.com/Barcode-Data-Decoder-App-SDK/MaxiCode-functionality-not-working/_3812 that despite the switch to enable Maxicode decoding being in the menu of the app, Maxicode decoding is actually not available. The answer to that person's question was that Maxicode decoding simply isn't available yet. in that app. So I'm posting here to suggest that the Maxicode decoder switch be removed from the app's menu as long as the actual Maxicode decoder remains unimplemented. Otherwise, it looks to the user like you have a broken Maxicode decoder, and this could lead to a loss of potential customers for you (they think your software is broken, so they don't even bother to buy your professional software, and they go to a different company instead for their barcode decoder needs).

We appreciate you informing us of this. The addition of Maxicode is possible in the future so the option is there for it. However, we will remove that option in the next release until the decoder for it works better.
