Human Readable Barcode adding an extra character


Hi,

I'm following up with another question.
I have a demo report using a demo font that works fine using 128B encoding in the report the function is called like this:

Code128B(<field>)
The field in the report uses a demo font (which displays demo on the barcode)

I upgraded to a licensed version of this product and have had some challenges trying to get the same report to work.
1. I lost the font used in the demo report and installed the humane readable true type font
2. The resulting font would not scan so I added the crystal report function and got a scannable barcode

Now, underneath the scanable barcode, I get an extra random character in the human-readable section.

How do I get back to a working solution?

The extra character is not a random character, it is the Code 128 B check digit which will always display in a Code 128 B font. There is no way to remove the check digit from this font. My recommendation is to use the IDAutomationC128 font and manually add a human-readable field.
