Code128 Barcodes in FileMaker Database On A New Computer

I have a FileMaker Pro (FMP 12) database (DB) set up for printing barcode labels. This DB ran (and still runs) fine on my old Mac Pro but displays only generic barcode images when running on my new iMac.

Both machines are running OS X. The IDAutomation fonts are installed on the new machine, as is what I believe is the correct plugin.

An older version of this DB created in FMP 11 runs fine on the new machine. FMP 12 is running via a server. FMP 11 is running locally.

What is the most likely issue?

Operating System: OSX

Application: FileMaker Pro

Support Recommendation:
We recommend FM Custom Functions (make sure the implementation is done on FMP Advanced to be seen by FMP users).

If Using FM Plugin:
After looking over the barcodes you sent, it seems as though you have multiple issues:
1. The data is not being encoded.
2. All the barcodes are set to 2014 (unencoded data).

We cannot provide support for FM on a server with the Plugin, but make sure that the database is properly functioning and that the plugin is properly installed and referenced (using your expertise). The issue is not with the font or encoder itself, it is with the implementation.

The odd characters you speak of are called encoded text.

I have uploaded an image of a page full of barcodes they should all represent the text below each one but instead, the barcodes all appear to be the same and they are not scannable.

Before the IDAutomation Code 128 fonts were installed on this machine, the barcode fields displayed text (with odd characters). After the fonts were installed, the text changed to these barcodes - they do not appear to be functional.

I thought they were some sort of generic placeholder images.

What do you mean by 'generic barcode images'? Can you post a clear/big image of that barcode?
