How do I convert numbers into bar codes in Word?


I have a need to convert GTIN-13 and GTIN-14 bar code numbers into a scan-able format, I am using Word. Can you please advise what I need to download to do this? I need a license to cover a small manufacturing site.

Operating System: Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1

To generate GTIN-13 and GTIN-14 barcodes in Word, you must use our Excel solution to encode data before performing a Mail Merge into Word. After merging the data, apply the barcode font to the merged field.

If the software can already produce barcodes, it should have a built-in encoder or an encoder that can connect with the font. If not, then that would be a problem. Our fonts will work with our encoders. I do not know which encoders your application can use but we have available font encoders here:

Thank you for this reply, I don't think this is going to help me. To explain further I am currently working on a project setting up a new ERP system (IFS - see www.ifsworld.com for details). This software can produce my barcodes including check digits and then link them into Word using quick parts. I am trying to format these numbers into the correct format, is this possible?
