How to encode FNC using FileMaker Font Encoder Plug-In and Fonts?

This is the barcode I am trying to generate in Filemaker using the Universal Barcode fonts, I tried ~202xx AIs and the scanner would not read the code but would for ~212xx AIs

Is this correct as I don't understand whether it is necessary to turn the tilde function on, a clearer example and more comprehensive examples in the instructions would really help

Ben	Best Answer For the FileMaker Font Encoder Plug-In, the ~202 Apply Tilde option must be used. To encode the FNC1 for GS1-128 barcodes: (1) Enable ApplyTilde (This enables functions to be encoded) (2) Encode ~202 before any AI element string that requires the FNC1 For example, the GS1 number of (8100)712345(21)125678 should be entered as a formula of: IDAu_Uni_C128 ("~2028100712345~20221125678\|1") Posted 10.6 year(s) ago (0) (0) Report Abuse

Thanks, Ben I think I've gotten there

here's the base data I wanted to encode

AI =01
GS1 level of packaging = 3
GS1 ITN = 09421028490238
AI=11=FN111
Manufactured date YYMM00 = 130800
AI =30=FN130
Qty = 4
AI =10 = FN110
LOT= 999

Here are the fields I used to create the barcode so when I scanned on my iPhone using AccuSoft I got the following

01 309421028490238 FN111 130800 FN130 4 FN110 9999

FMP 12 fields

Field 1 (a Calculation field that creates a text field from all the FMP fields plus the tilde)
="~20201"&GS1 Product Vault _ Inner::GS1 Product Level Level of Packaging&GS1 Product Vault _ Inner::GS1Prefix&"~20211"&PL Current Year&PL Current Month Format&"00"&"~20230"&GS1 Product Vault _ Inner::GS1 Net Content&"~20210"&PL_Lot_Number&"|1"

Field 2 (a calculation field that reads Field 1 as text; this might be unnecessary, but test yourself.)
=Field 1

Field 3
=IDAu_Uni_C128(Field 2)
