Create Code 128 in Crystal Reports with Fonts and Formula

How to create Code 128 barcodes in Crystal Reports using the Code 128 Package (barcode fonts and barcode font formulas).

The example explains how to install the Code 128 Font Package and generate barcodes in Crystal Reports.

1. Install the Code 128 Font Package (Demo or Sale)

2. Return to the IDAutomation_C128FontAdvantage folder and open the Crystal Reports Formulas.rpt file in the Integration folder.

3. Right-click the barcode object and choose Copy.

4. In the desired report, right-click and choose Paste.

5. Right-click the barcode object and choose Edit Formula.

6. Modify the DataToEncode= to include a character string, field, or a combination of both.

Example using character string: DataToEncode = "ABC123"
Example using data field: DataToEncode = ({Table.Field})
Example using combination: DataToEncode = {Table.Field} + "ABC123"
Example using combination of multiple fields: DataToEncode = {Table.Field} + {Table.Field2}
Example encoding functions (Tab,Return)(ASCII Table): DataToEncode = "123" & Chr(9) & {Table.Field} & Chr(13)

7. Preview the report. Select the appropriate barcode font to produce a Code 128 barcode.
