Why GS1- encoding starts with

Hi there,

I want to encode a string composed of
01 040033186004742 10 1801103266 15 180130

The blanks are just to make the different AI visible, they are not part of the data to be encoded. Due to the structure of the string (only numbers) I would expect the code to be encoded with the C set of GS1. But it is not like this: it starts with B!

Here is the code that I’m using with the IDAutomation Font Formula for Universal Barcode Fonts with Crystal Reports:

Ben	Best Answer Verify that the FNC1 is also encoded before the very first Application Identifier in the data using either ~202 or the Ê character for the Code 128 or GS1 Font formula. Verify that ApplyTilde/ProcessTilde is enabled or set to True. Also, according to the GS1 AI Reference the FNC1 is only required at the beginning of the data and only included again after variable data.
