GS1 Logistic Label - Decodability issue - II

Hi Ben,
Based on your solution to my support call on the same issue check --> https://support.idautomation.com/Code-128/GS1-Logistic-Label---Decodability-issue/_1313

I am still not able to sort this out.
I am using a Crystal report ver 12.5 and a Zebra Z4mPlus printer with 203 DPI Printer (thermal printer)

Listed are the label requirements
Format: GS1-128, Height 32mm (AI02 -GTIN, AI37-Qty, A17-Date, AI10-Batch)
Label dimension A6 or 105mm x 148mm
So the barcode height is 32mm = 1.25in
As per your suggestion, I have gone about calculating the Points for the C128M font
the formula used is 12 * (height you want) / (height at 12 points) = (point size converted to integer)
= 12 * 1.25in / 0.5 (using IDAutomationC128M) = 30
Fonts Height Font Points
IDAutomationC128M 12 1.25 0.5 30

So when I use C128M font with 30 points, the height of the bar code is correct (78mm or 1.25in) however the width goes off the page.

Since I am using a 203 DPI Printer (thermal printer), the only font point I can use are 6, 12, 18, 24, 30, 36

I need the barcode height to be 78mm or 1.25 inches and the width to be under 105mm (size of the label) 95mm would be preferred keeping in the margins

But in all cases, the barcode is crossing the recommended width. So I have tried other fonts with the above point sizes but still no luck.

Am I doing something wrong, can you advise

Regards

Tony

It is difficult to develop a barcode (width) based on millimeters because the actual data for a particular GS1 standard can vary. The height should be no problem. What is your required XDimension? Using a barcode font, the XDimension is equivalent to the point size. Once you have the appropriate XDimension, we can adjust the height with the font type (IDAutomationC128M, IDAutomationC128L, IDAutomationC128XL).
