Printing from Crystal Viewer generates Blank Barcodes

In our deployment, we offer users the ability to print the crystal report to the Viewer or any of the export formats. If I go straight to PDF, I get Barcodes.

If I open it in the viewer I can see the barcodes, but when I choose to print it, the barcodes are missing.

If I export from the viewer to RPT and open it locally, I can see the barcodes fine and they print fine.

We are using the 64Bit version of Crystal 13 runtime and the Crystal Reports Print Control.

Operating System: Windows 2008

Application: IIS

I have duplicated the scenario, minus the physical printer. Everything else works correctly, as stated in the question. Since it is the physical printer that is not printing the barcodes, is either the print driver not recognizing the barcode font or the font embedding mechanism the printer uses. In either case, try updating the print driver, searching for the issue on the printer manufacturer's site, or contacting their tech support to see if it is a known issue.

Alternatively, try printing to a different make/model of printer to see if that resolves the issue in the meantime.

Try printing to the Microsoft XPS Document Writer and see if it works. That might rule out the print function problem.

This problem replicates for all users and all printers in our product.

Seems to be more related to the Crystal Print Control with the viewer embedded in the ASPX page. Any suggestions on how to identify why this is the case?

As I mentioned if I export the report to RPT and open it in Crystal Reports Designer, it prints fine.
