Enquiry of user PC installation

Hi,

We have purchased "IDAutomation QR Code Font and Encoder Package (Developer License)" before, and we saw that the developer license should allow up to 10K users, may I check the what's the user installation package?

We downloaded "IDAutomation 2D Fonts.zip" and installed the "TrueType" font on the user's PC but when we generate a crystal report with the QR code, the user's PC will show the "UFL' u21com.dll' that implements this function is missing" error, we forced the execute run as a 32-bit program under Win64 OS;

Currently, the crystal report can generate files on the development PC which is installed "IDAutomation QRCode Font and Encoder.zip".

So may I check if "IDAutomation QRCode Font and Encoder.zip" is a client installation package? Or user's PC should have another install procedure?

Please advise. Thanks.

The package you ordered was the Developer Package. We are not limiting users or installations of your package. Instead, the problem is that your product needs to be updated. To obtain the latest font formula and the UFL that works in 64-bit, you need to update your support and upgrade your subscription. Use this link:

Hi,

Let me bring back to the install package question, we downloaded the below zip files when we purchased a long time ago:

IDAutomation 2D Fonts.zip
IDAutomation QRCode Developer Tools.zip
IDAutomation QRCode Font and Encoder.zip
IDAutomation_QRCode_WebFonts.zip

Referring to "The client install package would be the EXE within the product zip file.", does it means the client install package can be "IDAutomation_QRCodeWindowsFontEncoder.exe" under "IDAutomation QRCode Font and Encoder.zip"?

How does idautomation determine the developer package and client package? If we installed "IDAutomation QRCode Font and Encoder", the windows menu will show an encoder application, will it claim as developer tools and used a developer license?

Please advise. Thanks.

It appears your order was from 2014 and that version did not include the font formula. To obtain the latest font formula and the UFL that works in 64-bit, you need to update your support and upgrade your subscription. Use this link:

Please click on the link I provided below and use the font formulas included in your package. With the font formulas, you do not need to distribute a UFL.

I have tried to install https://www.idautomation.com/downloads/IDAutomation_CrystalUFL.zip and run the below script in command-line

C:WindowsMicrosoft.NETFrameworkv4.0.30319RegAsm.exe /codebase C:WindowsSysWOW64CRUFLIDAutomation.dll
C:WindowsMicrosoft.NETFramework64v4.0.30319RegAsm.exe /codebase C:WindowsSystem32CRUFLIDAutomation.dll

But it shows the same error when generating a file from crystal report, tried rebooting the user's PC.

Please refer to this U21com.dll UFL incident to solve the UFL error you are receiving. The client install package would be the EXE within the product zip file.
