Excel Native Generator Error - Call only from sheet


When using the Native Barcode Generator for Excel, how can I call IDAutomation_NXLS_QRCode() from a vba sub?

Enter the formula in a cell that will contain the barcode, for example, =IDAutomation_NXLS_QRCode(A3) will generate a barcode in call A3; verify the size is correct to contain it. Only the cell reference is required; all other properties are optional.

To call the function from a sub in VBA, call it passing the DataToEncode variable with the FontText option 3, for example:
Dim FontText as String
Dim DataToEncode as String
DataToEncode = "My Data to Encode"
FontText = IDAutomation_NXLS_QRCode(DataToEncode,3)

This method is only useful for the FontText option 3 unless you find a way to pass an image into a variable.
