I am using your Native Generator product but the barcode is compacted or bunched and does not scan.


I have created a Code 128 barcode with your Native Generator for FileMaker but it does not look good and does not scan.

Note: Since this question was resolved, IDAutomation has updated the FileMaker Native Barcode Generator products. The latest version offers easier implementation and resolves many previous issues such as the one documented here.

When using Native Barcode Generators
Native Generator for FileMaker
Native Generator for Crystal Reports
Native Generator for Access

check for the following:

1) Ensure that the field is completely expanded. This will make sure that the barcode is not layered on top of each other.

2) Set point size to 3 points. If the point size is too large, the barcode will not properly display.

3) Use a mono-spaced font such as Times New Roman or Courier New


This should resolve the issue.
