Installation Steps of Bar Codes in RTF Templates

Dear Team,

We have reviewed the links "Font Installation Procedures" and the "Oracle BIP Implementation Guide" but could not find the required information to install and implement the required barcode fonts using rtf template.

Do you have any steps documented to implement in Linux and any sample rtf templates which we can refer to implement.

If possible can we have a scheduled meeting to discuss on the subjected line?

Thanks,
Sai Kumar CG

To create Code 128 barcodes, review the How to Create 1D Barcodes in BI Publisher solution. The qrbarcodes.zip file is a file provided by Tim Dexter for the complete solution. We provide the link to this download in the solution above as well as in our official BI Publisher implementation tutorial.

Regrettably, we do not. However, starting from step 13 in the forum post linked in the original response, any RTF file field can use these few steps.

Dear Ben,

Do you have any sample rtf templates where code128 has been used so that we can refer to implement.

Thanks,
Sai Kumar CG

While we can support our Java Font Encoder on various operating systems, we cannot support Oracle's BI Publisher solution directly. I recommend contacting Oracle or Tim Dexter for more information about the implementation on LINUX.

Dear Ben,

Thanks for the update, but the link which you have mentioned has only the windows steps. After achieving the barcode in local system what are the steps to be performed, i mean where the class files to be migrated in the server and xdo.cfg file properties and in which location font file needs to be migrated in the server. The document has no clue about this information.

Thanks,
Sai Kumar CG
